Andrew & Rachelle's Wedding

Andrew and Rachelle found me last year through a coworker of mine and I couldn't have been happier to shoot their wedding.  They are so comfortable with one another and have so much fun together, it was so easy to capture their personalities in the images!  I had the privilege of hiring the amazing Anha Nguyen as my second shooter to cover their big day.  So for those of you who don't know, photographers synchronize their cameras (yes, just like spies....) so you can see the event unfold from both perspectives at once.  Without any prior planning, both the bride and the groom with her bridesmaids and his groomsmen took their first swigs from their champagne glasses and flasks at the SAME time in two totally different places.  Crazy, right?!  Also - this was the first couple I've seen that had a Rolls Royce take them from the ceremony to the reception!

Slick.

Coyote Hills Wedding

OK, definitely blog catch-up time!  I haven't posted anything since July of last year!?  I guess that/s a testament to how busy business has been (ironically)!

Here's a quick preview from a wedding shot in June of last year at the Coyote Hills Golf Course in Fullerton.

Serious style.

Congratulations to Aaron & Shannon!

Ruez Wedding

I don't know if I've ever met a more considerate bride - the wedding day should be all about her, but she made sure to take care of everyone around her the entire time.  She even made us coffee and brought us donuts!

She might have been a little nervous...

Caught a smile from the bride as she hid from the groom in the car outside the church.

If you click on the picture below, you can see the droplets of holy water the priest sprinkled onto the rings.

I've been meaning to try out this shot for a while.

Caught this little dance going on during the cake cutting!

I've been seeing a lot more money-dancing recently - recession assistance for new couples?

Reef Restaurant Wedding

This was a really fun wedding - the Hotel Maya had some incredible colors throughout the rooms and that made for some really interesting pairing with the dress/shoes.

The groomsmen...

Hair of the dog, sure sign of a good night.

I had a lot of opportunities for some nice series shots.

I have to say, the ceremony was probably the fastest I've ever seen, I think everyone was just scorching up on the rooftop of the Reef.

One of the happiest couples I've ever shot.

These little girls were following me around for half the night ;)

All in all it was a really fun night, a lot of emotion from the groom, I think they have a long and happy life to look forward to.
